Taken off LTIR Henrique (undisclosed) will be activated off long-term injured reserve ahead of Wednesday's game in Anaheim, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

Impact Henrique hasn't played since Jan. 6 due to the injury. He has two goals and 10 points in 43 appearances in 2025-26. Henrique will probably center the fourth line Wednesday. Edmonton is projected to dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen, and Kasperi Kapanen (undisclosed) is slated to be the team's only scratch.

Pivots to LTIR Henrique was moved to long-term injured reserve Tuesday.

Impact Henrique was shifted to LTIR in a corresponding move to Jake Walman (lower body) and Tristan Jarry (lower body) being activated by the Oilers ahead of Tuesday's game against Nashville. Henrique's move comes as no surprise, as the team had already reported that he would be out through the Olympic Break. With 10 points in 43 games this season, he'll look to get his campaign back on track once he returns to the lineup.

Impact Henrique was already expected to miss time, but this injury will sideline him for nearly two months. The 35-year-old forward's absence will initially be covered by either Trent Frederic or Andrew Mangiapane, who were scratched Tuesday versus the Predators, but the Oilers have an extra roster spot to work with and may turn to a young forward call-up from AHL Bakersfield for reinforcements.

Impact Henrique doesn't have an official status, but he will be out for at least some time. The Oilers will put either Trent Frederic or Andrew Mangiapane back into the lineup while Henrique is out, and Matt Savoie will join Jack Roslovic and Isaac Howard in Henrique's spot.

Impact Since his two-helper game versus the Mammoth on Oct. 28, Henrique had gone 16 contests with just two assists and a minus-6 rating. He matched that output by assisting on both of Matt Savoie's goals in this game, one shorthanded and the other on the power play. Henrique is at nine points, 47 shots on net, 18 hits, 40 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 28 outings this season. He's valued for his experience and defensive acumen, but Henrique will see most of his minutes in the bottom six, limiting his scoring potential for fantasy.
