Kyler Murray again spread the ball around among the Cardinals' key skill-position players, with Ertz tying for third in catches, sitting fourth in targets and finishing fifth in receiving yards on the team. Ertz has a friendly matchup on tap Sunday against a Lions defense that has allowed nearly 8.0 yards per target (seventh most in the NFL) to tight ends this season.

Impact The Arizona passing game appeared in peril heading into this game due to the absences of Kyler Murray (ankle) and DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring), but Ertz stepped up and abused the Seattle defense even with Colt McCoy at quarterback. In the first two, he was on the receiving end of passes from Kyler Murray, but with the latter out due to a sprained ankle, veteran Colt McCoy was directing the offense in Week 9. The result was Ertz' worst receiving line as a Card, and McCoy again may be under center Sunday against the Panthers due to Murray's injury.
