Checks in with Colts Redmond (toe) had a workout with Indianapolis on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Impact Redmond was waived off injured reserve by the Packers in late November, and he's now attempting to latch on elsewhere. The 27-year-old appeared in 13 games for Green Bay in 2020 and totaled 28 tackles and one pass defensed.

Impact Redmond was sidelined at the start of training camp with a foot injury, but he was able to pass his physical in time to return to action against the Jets in Week 2 of the preseason. The 27-year-old suffered a toe injury during the contest -- later diagnosed as turf toe -- and will be forced to miss the entire 2021 campaign. Impact Redmond was sidelined with a toe injury Monday just one week after returning to the practice field from being on the non-football injury list with a foot issue. The 27-year-old enters the 2021 campaign as the third-safety on the depth chart behind Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos. If the toe injury does not keep him out for long, Redmond once again will aim to play an important role for the Packers in the upcoming season.
