INJURIES

Held to two grabs Sunday Robinson caught two of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Seahawks.
Impact The promising rookie was coming off two solid performances in a row, but Robinson wasn't able to make an impact on an afternoon during which the entire Giants offense struggled. He'll look to recharge his batteries over a Week 9 bye, and if the team's passing game can find another gear in the second half, Robinson figures to be one of the main beneficiaries.

Sidesteps injury report Robinson (undisclosed) wasn't listed on the Giants' injury report Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Impact While Robinson was able to gut out an unknown injury after limping off the field in the first half of this past Sunday's win at Jacksonville, he wasn't targeted after halftime, finishing with six catches (on eight targets) for 50 yards. With a few days to rest up, he was able to avoid the first Week 8 practice report entirely, clearing him to be among quarterback Daniel Jones' top wide receivers Sunday in Seattle.

Giants QB Daniel Jones would not be denied in win over Jaguars

Daniel Jones threw for 200 yards, ran for 100 and continued to make anything work, showing again how valuable he is to the Giants.

Giants QB Daniel Jones would not be denied in win over Jaguars
Six first-half catches in win Robinson caught six of eight targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 23-17 win over Jacksonville.
Impact All eight of Robinson's targets came in the first half, as New York made a concerted effort to get the rookie second-round pick involved early. He limped off the field late in the first half, per Adam Schefter of ESPN, and while Robinson stayed in the game, he wasn't thrown to after halftime. Robinson appeared to be hit below the belt prior to limping off, which would suggest there isn't an injury at play here, but his lack of involvement in the second half makes his status worth monitoring ahead of the Giants' Week 8 trip to Seattle.
OCTOBER 23, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
First touchdown in return Robinson recorded three receptions on four targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Ravens.
Impact Robinson returned from a four-game absence caused by a knee injury and immediately stepped into a significant role. He finished tied for second on the team with four targets and was two yards shy of leading the team. Robinson had a few highlights in his performance, including a 17-yard catch and five-yard touchdown reception -- the first of his career. He should maintain his status amongst the Giants' receiving corps, particularly if Kadarius Toney (hamstring) remains sidelined.
OCTOBER 17, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Playing in Week 6 Robinson (knee) is listed as active Sunday versus the Ravens, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact Suiting up for the first time since the season opener, Robinson could be limited in his return from a right knee injury after having a cap on his reps during Week 6 prep. The receiving corps has a different breakdown since the rookie second-round pick's last appearance, though, as all of Kadarius Toney (hamstring), Kenny Golladay (knee), Sterling Shepard (ACL, IR) and Collin Johnson (Achilles, IR) are unavailable. This time around, Robinson will be working with Darius Slayton, Marcus Johnson, Richie James and David Sills at wide receiver.
OCTOBER 16, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable, but should play Week 6 Robinson (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, but he's expected to play in the Week 6 contest, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Impact The rookie second-round pick looked as though he was on track to open the season in a prominent role for the Giants, but he played just nine snaps in a Week 1 win over the Titans before succumbing to a right knee injury that has sidelined him ever since. Even though Robinson was a limited participant during practices Wednesday through Friday, the Giants seem to have noticed enough improvement in the wideout's health to make him available Week 6. Robinson's status won't be officially confirmed until the Giants release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, and Raanan suggests that the 21-year-old will likely be "sprinkled in" to the game plan in his return with a light snap count. If Robinson does in fact play Sunday and escapes without any setbacks, he could see his role on offense grow in the weeks that follow.
OCTOBER 14, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Stays limited in practice Robinson (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact With a pair of limited practices to kick off Week 6 prep, Robinson at least appears to have a better chance to play Sunday against the Ravens than either Kadarius Toney (hamstrings) or Kenny Golladay (knee), with both of those receivers having not practiced in any capacity Wednesday or Thursday. Even so, Robinson may need to upgrade to full participation Friday in order for the Giants to feel comfortable making him active this weekend after the rookie second-round pick missed each of the previous four contests. The depleted state of the Giants' receiving corps should leave plenty of reps available for Robinson if and when he's ultimately cleared to play again.
OCTOBER 13, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Limited in practice Robinson (knee) will be limited in Wednesday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Impact Robinson has missed four straight games due to a lingering knee injury. Last week the rookie fourth-round pick began practices with two straight limited sessions before sitting out entirely Friday, but it remains to be seen whether that represented any sort of setback. Meanwhile, Kenny Golladay (knee) and Kadarius Toney (hamstring) are not practicing Wednesday.
OCTOBER 12, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Officially ruled out Robinson (knee) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact It remains to be seen whether Robinson has suffered an injury setback, but his recovery obviously hasn't progressed as hoped for the Giants. With Kenny Golladay (knee) and Kadarius Toney (hamstring) also out versus Green Bay, Daniel Jones is set to operate with David Sills, Richie James and Darius Slayton as his top wideouts.
OCTOBER 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Trending in wrong direction Robinson (knee) is not practicing Friday and is trending toward being ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Impact Robinson's prospects appeared more optimistic after he practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, but it now looks like the rookie second-round pick may miss a fourth straight week. Friday's official injury report will reveal Robinson's actual initial designation for Sunday, but it's possible that a Giants receiving corps already without Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (knee) could be further depleted versus Green Bay.
OCTOBER 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Practices in limited fashion Robinson (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Impact Even though Robinson's "limited" listing matched his level of participation at Wednesday's practice, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post described the rookie wideout as having an "active day" Thursday during the portion of the session that was open to the media. At the very least, Robinson looks poised to join the Giants on their flight to London later Thursday before practicing in some capacity Friday. If Robinson can upgrade to full participation, he'll be in good position to play Sunday against the Packers, but even another limited showing might be enough for the Giants to sign off on him returning from a three-game absence.
OCTOBER 6, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Limited in return to practice Robinson (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Impact This marks Robinson's first on-field work since injuring his right knee Week 1. The rookie second-round pick was joined by Kadarius Toney (hamstring) as a limited participant, while Richie James (ankle) and Kenny Golladay (knee) didn't practice at all. Golladay is slated to sit out this Sunday against the Packers in London, so if Robinson is able to gain clearance to play this weekend, a sizable snap count could be in the cards alongside David Sills considering the overall banged-up nature of the receiving corps.
OCTOBER 5, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Remains sidelined in Week 4 Robinson (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Robinson will be joined on the sidelines by Kadarius Toney (hamstring), so a Giants receiving corps that lost Sterling Shepard to a season-ending ACL tear earlier in the week will be headlined by Richie James, David Sills and Kenny Golladay on Sunday against the Bears. The return timetable for Robinson remains murky, as the rookie has yet to resume practicing since hurting his knee in his NFL debut.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Still not practicing Robinson (knee) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Robinson hasn't practiced since injuring his right knee in the season opener, but he was seen running sprints on a side field with team trainers Thursday. Kadarius Toney (hamstring) also didn't mix into drills, so with Sterling Shepard (knee) now on injured reserve due to a torn ACL, the Giants current healthy options at wide receiver are Richie James, David Sills, Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton.
SEPTEMBER 29, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Not practicing Robinson (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Impact Head coach Brian Daboll wasn't optimistic Tuesday when discussing Robinson and Kadarius Toney (hamstring), who also missed Wednesday's practice. The Giants likely will start Richie James and David Sills this Sunday against the Bears, with Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton the other healthy options after Sterling Shepard (knee) suffered an ACL tear this past Monday.
SEPTEMBER 28, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
May not be ready Week 4 Giants head coach Brian Daboll didn't express much optimism Tuesday that Robinson (knee) will be available for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Bears, Pat Leonard of the New York...
Impact Daboll noted that both Robinson and Kadarius Toney (hamstring) are showing improvement after both missed Monday's loss to the Cowboys, but the quick turnaround for the Week 4 matchup may make it difficult for either wideout to gain clearance for game action. Robinson may face a tougher battle to suit up Sunday, as he didn't practice in any capacity this past week before being ruled out against Dallas, while Toney was given a doubtful designation ahead of the contest. The potential absences of Robinson and Toney again in Week 4 would loom even larger than usual for the Giants, as top wideout Sterling Shepard (knee) suffered a season-ending ACL tear in the fourth quarter of the loss to the Cowboys to further deplete the receiving corps.
SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Not playing Monday Robinson (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's matchup against the Cowboys, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact This shouldn't come as much of a surprise given Robinson was unable to practice all week. The Giants should be relatively healthy at wide receiver otherwise, as only Kadarius Toney (hamstring/doubtful) is listed on the team's final injury report ahead of the aforementioned primetime game.
SEPTEMBER 24, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Still hasn't practiced since injury Robinson (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Friday's practice estimate, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact The Giants held a walkthrough, but Robinson would not have been able to participate had New York held an actual session. The rookie wide receiver hasn't practiced in any capacity since injuring his knee Week 1, so he appears to be heading towards a Week 3 absence against the Cowboys, though Robinson will have the benefit of an extra day to heal because the game won't be played until Monday.
SEPTEMBER 23, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
No Thursday practice Robinson (knee) did not practice Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact The Giants play Monday so Robinson has time to return to practice yet this week, but the question of whether he'll be able to isn't clear. Even if Robinson practices in some capacity this week, it's also not clear whether he's a realistic bet to return to the field Monday. Particularly with Richie James playing relatively well in the slot, the Giants might not be inclined to rush Robinson back from the knee injury, which he suffered Week 1.
SEPTEMBER 22, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Working on side Wednesday Robinson (knee) was spotted working on the side with team trainers during Wednesday's practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Impact He was joined on the side field by fellow wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Sterling Shepard (rest). Robinson injured his right knee in the season opener and didn't practice last week before the Giants ruled him out for Week 2. It's unclear if the rookie second-round pick will mix into drills this week, but the first practice report of Week 3 -- which the team isn't required to post until Thursday -- will reveal whether or not he did so.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play in Week 2 Robinson (knee) will miss Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Impact Robinson failed to practice in any capacity throughout the week, so it isn't surprising to see the rookie wide receiver listed as out on New York's final injury report. With Kadarius Toney (hamstring) questionable, the Giants could be down two young playmakers in a receiving corps that will still feature Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard and Richie James. Robinson's next chance to suit up will come in Week 3 against Dallas on Monday Night Football.
SEPTEMBER 16, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Remains absent from practice Robinson (knee) didn't participate in practice Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact After consecutive absences at practices to begin Week 2 prep, the rookie wideout will likely need to get back on the field Friday as at least a limited participant to have a realistic shot at playing Sunday against the Panthers. If Robinson can't play Week 2, Richie James and Kadarius Toney could take on more pronounced roles at receiver alongside starters Kenny Golladay and Sterling Shepard.
SEPTEMBER 15, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Sits out practice Robinson (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact Head coach Brian Daboll said Robinson is day-to-day after an early exit from Sunday's win over the Titans, though Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com notes that the wide receiver has a brace over his knee and appears likely to miss some time. If so, candidates to see extra snaps include Richie James, Kadarius Toney and David Sills.
