Impact A seventh-round pick in 2020, Cleveland suited up for 10 games in his rookie season and mostly contributed on special teams, returning 10 kicks for 234 yards. The Broncos are healthy at wide receiver to start the season, so Cleveland was cut loose before the 53-man roster was revealed Tuesday.

Impact The rookie seventh-round pick entered Sunday with just two catches on the season and stepped up in a big way. All five of Cleveland's targets were on third down, and he converted three of them. The Florida product also converted a fourth third down by drawing a holding penalty. Cleveland definitely benefitted from the absence of fellow rookie KJ Hamler (concussion) and Tim Patrick (foot), but he showed promise heading into an offseason in which the bulk of Denver's young core of skill players will return.

Impact Cleveland's claim to fame is hauling in a 63-yard Hail Mary to top Tennessee in 2017. Still, after averaging just 319 yards per year in four seasons at Florida, it was a slight surprise for the Broncos to spend a seventh-round pick on him after drafting Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler in the first two rounds of the draft. The top of the receiving corps has shaken out, so it should be Cleveland, DaeSean Hamilton, Fred Brown, and Juwann Winfree competing for just one or two spots. If he comes up short, Cleveland could be a developmental project who could be stashed on the practice squad and make strides in 2021.
