Impact Shavers made a solid impression during Buffalo's training camp, but ultimately fell short of making the 53-man roster. He spent the entire 2024 campaign on the practice squad and was elevated for three regular-season games, with his lone catch going for a 69-yard touchdown against the Jets in Week 17. Shavers will be on the Bills' 90-man roster at the start of the new league year and will have the opportunity to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp ahead of the 2025 campaign.

Reverts to practice squad Shavers reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday.

Impact Shavers played 12 snaps (10 on offense, two on special teams) during the Bills' 40-14 win over the Jets on Sunday. Buffalo pulled their starters in the fourth quarter, and Shavers took advantage of the opportunity by taking a pass from Mitchell Trubisky 69 yards for his first touchdown reception of his NFL career. Shavers has been elevated by the Bills three times, which is the maximum a team is allowed to do in the regular season. He would have to be signed to the active roster in order to play in Buffalo's regular-season finale against New England next Sunday.

Impact Shavers will be elevated for the third time this season and first time since Week 10. The pass catcher will provide depth at wide receiver behind Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins and Curtis Samuel (ribs).
