Scores rush TD in win Johnson rushed three times for 16 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 23-20 win over the Browns on Sunday.
Impact Johnson and Ray Davis each logged three rush attempts behind James Cook's 16, and the former was able to deliver a serviceable fantasy day thanks to a two-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter. Johnson wasn't targeted for the first time in eight games, but he's likely to see his pass-catching production tick back up in a Week 17 road showdown against the Eagles.

Gets seven touches in Week 15 win Johnson turned four carries into 13 yards and caught three passes on as many targets for 15 yards during the Bills' 35-31 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
Impact Johnson iced the game for the Bills with a two-yard rush late in the fourth quarter, which was enough to pick up the first down and seal the win. His seven touches were a season high, and while he worked ahead of Ray Davis (one catch on as many targets for 13 yards, along with no carries), it was James Cook who predictably served as the bell cow running back in Sunday's win. Johnson will continue to operate as a change-of-pace back when spelling out Cook, so the former doesn't carry much fantasy appeal into the Bills' Week 16 tilt against the Browns on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Four touches Sunday Johnson carried the ball twice for 25 yards and caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 39-34 win over the Bengals.
Impact The backup RB caught multiple passes for a sixth straight games, while his 25 rushing yards was actually a season high. Ray Davis, Buffalo's usual No. 2 RB behind James Cook, didn't get a touch at all Sunday. Johnson has a 14-176-1 line on 16 targets during that six-game stretch while chipping in 56 rushing yards and another score, giving him some modest PPR appeal heading into a Week 15 meeting with the Patriots.

Totals 25 yards in win Johnson rushed two times for five yards and secured three of five targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Steelers.
Impact On a day Josh Allen completed passes to eight different receivers, Johnson's five targets led the Bills, and his three catches matched James Cook and Dawson Knox for the team lead. Johnson doesn't see nearly enough touch volume to be a recommended fantasy target, but he's involved enough to make this offense one to try and avoid most weeks outside of Allen and Cook since the ball is spread around to so many different players.

Solid as receiver in loss Johnson rushed twice for seven yards and brought in all three targets for 45 yards in the Bills' 23-19 loss to the Texans on Thursday night. He also returned one kickoff for 22 yar...
Impact Johnson continued to serve as the No. 2 back over Ray Davis, who didn't log a carry. However, as is often the case, Johnson made a bigger impact as a receiver, recording multiple receptions for the fourth straight contest and eclipsing 40 receiving yards for the second consecutive game. Johnson's fantasy appeal remains limited to deep full-PPR formats and large-field DFS tournaments as long as Cook is healthy, and he'll fill his usual complementary role again in a Week 13 road matchup against the Steelers on Sunday, Nov. 30.

Finds paydirt in Week 11 Johnson recorded one carry for nine yards and caught both of his targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-32 win over Tampa Bay.
Impact Johnson didn't have the ball in his hands many times in Week 11, but he definitely made the most of his chances. Most significantly, the running back was able to a swing pass from Josh Allen into a 52-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Johnson has now reeled in multiple catches in three consecutive contests. He'll look to build off of his recent production when the Bills face the Texans on Thursday Night Football in Week 12.

Finds end zone in Week 9 Johnson rushed twice for eight yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chiefs. He also caught both of his targets for 12 yards.
Impact The Maryland product played 13 offensive snaps to Ray Davis' three during Sunday's win, so it appears that he's moved into the team's No. 2 running back role. Johnson was impactful during Week 9, putting the Bills up by two scores late in the second quarter with a three-yard touchdown run. He's expected to continue operating as Buffalo's top reserve RB heading into the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins.

Logs four carries vs. Carolina Johnson rushed four times for six yards in Sunday's 40-9 win over the Panthers.
Impact The Maryland product received the most carries he's had in a single game all season during Sunday's blowout win. Johnson has now accumulated 64 rushing yards on 15 attempts and caught two of seven targets for 19 yards across Buffalo's first seven games this season. He's also contributed on special teams, playing 69 snaps and recording 151 kick-return yards. He's expected to remain the Bills' No. 2 running back and kick returner heading into the Week 9 matchup against the Chiefs.

Accounts for 16 yards in Week 6 Johnson carried once for five yards and added an 11-yard reception on two targets in Monday's 24-14 loss to the Falcons.
Impact For the fourth straight game, Johnson outpaced Ray Davis in playing time, with the latter running back being limited to just two snaps while the former logged 24, his most since Week 1. Starter James Cook still led the backfield with 30 snaps on the night, though he was limited to just one carry in the fourth quarter while the Bills largely abandoned the run and leaned more heavily on Johnson in passing situations. The Bills seemingly view Johnson mainly as a passing-down specialist, and even if Cook were to miss time at some point after the team's Week 7 bye, Davis could still garner a good portion of the carries out of the backfield.
