Impact Edwards wasn't able to make the Rams' 53-man roster after logging four catches (on six targets) for 57 yards and one touchdown in two preseason games. He'll stay in Los Angeles as a member of the Rams' practice squad, where the undrafted rookie will be eligible for elevation to the active roster if the team needs depth at wide receiver.

Impact Edwards joined the Rams in late April as an undrafted free agent. He missed the team's preseason opener due to an undisclosed injury, but he returned for the final two contests and posted four catches (on six targets) for 57 yards and one touchdown. While Edwards wasn't able to carve a spot for himself on the Rams' 53-man roster, he is a candidate to remain in Los Angeles as a member of the team's practice squad.

Impact Notably, Edwards didn't see his first target until the second half on a day the Rams' top six wideouts all were given the day off. Brennan Presley once again led the Rams receivers in yardage with 51 yards on three catches, and Britain Covey saw six targets thrown his way, tied for the team high with Drake Stoops. The UDFA out of Louisiana Tech was looking at an uphill battle to make it on the 53-man roster given the wealth of talent the Rams have at wide receiver, and a fairly pedestrian preseason (outside of his game-winning touchdown catch last week) may not be enough to push the needle in favor of snagging one of the final roster spots.
