Inks deal with San Fran The 49ers signed Fumagalli (undisclosed) to a one-year contract Tuesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Fumagalli appeared in six games for Denver in 2020, totaling eight receptions for 80 yards and one touchdown, but he didn't play at all in 2021 due to an undisclosed injury. However, the 27-year-old appears to be healthy after participating in the 49ers' rookie minicamp last weekend. To make room for Fumagalli, San Francisco released Garrett Walston.
