Impact Edmunds will make his second appearance on the active roster with the Steelers this season, as he's resided on the practice squad for most of 2020. Don't expect the Maryland product to see much playing time on offense Sunday, however, as he currently sits fifth on the depth chart.

Impact The 25-year-old back was granted only six offensive snaps during the Steelers' Week 5 win over Philadelphia, and he was not entrusted with a single carry after handling 22 rush attempts during 2019. James Conner (15 carries), Benny Snell (seven) and Anthony McFarland (three) were all involved in the ground attack against the Eagles, while Jaylen Samuels was also active, but did not garner any rush attempts.

Impact Edmunds has been on the practice squad since the beginning of the 2020 season, but he'll make his first appearance on the active roster for Sunday's contest. The 25-year-old played a minor role offensively last season while serving as a depth option in the wake of several injuries to the team's running backs. However, he likely won't see much playing time offensively Sunday with James Conner, Benny Snell and Anthony McFarland all healthy, assuming he's active. Following the game, he'll automatically revert back to the practice squad and won't be subject to waivers.

Impact The fourth-round selection of Anthony McFarland in the 2020 NFL Draft essentially boxed out Edmunds from a 53-man roster spot, especially after the team chose to retain Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels as well. A versatile special teams player and shifty runner in space, Edmunds might have put together enough NFL tape to illicit interest from other teams, but if not he's almost a shoo-in to secure a spot on the Steelers' practice squad.
