Lands future deal The Bengals signed Irwin to a reserve/future contract Monday.

Impact Irwin entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2019. The Stanford wide receiver suited up in exactly one game in each of his first two seasons, notching one five-yard reception. The 25-year-old will look to secure a depth role with the Bengals in 2021.

Heads back to practice squad Irwin reverted to the Bengals' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Impact Irwin hauled in one of his two targets for a five-yard gain during Sunday's road win over the Texans. If he is promoted to the active roster for a Week 17 matchup against Baltimore, the 25-year-old would remain a depth passing-game option for the Brandon Allen-led Bengals.
