Duane Brown back at practice for Seahawks ahead of opener

After more than a month as a spectator, left tackle Duane Brown was on the field as a participant as game week finally arrived for the Seattle Seahawks

Managing knee issue Coach Pete Carroll said Tuesday that Brown is dealing with knee soreness, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Brown is considered day-to-day, so it doesn't appear to be a serious concern. It's unclear if the rookie fourth-round pick will be available for Saturday's preseason finale against the Chargers.

Potential starter for 'Hawks The Seahawks selected Brown in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 137th overall.

Impact Brown played outside as a three-year starter at Oklahoma, making a name for himself by virtue of his physicality, top-end speed and consistent route recognition. As he works to carve out a role in Seattle, however, it seems likely that Brown's frame (5-foot-9, 185-pounds) will limit him to opportunities in the slot. Of course, Brown will be a steal for the Seahawks in the fourth round if he does develop into a starter at nickel.
