49ers activate Kittle, Gould, Wilson for Cardinals game

The San Francisco 49ers have activated tight end George Kittle, kicker Robbie Gould and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. to play this week against the Arizona Cardinals

Impact This move indicates Jefferson has returned to health after previously battling a hamstring injury. He's yet to appear in a game this season.

Waived with injury settlement The 49ers waived Jefferson (hamstring) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday.

Impact With the move, the 49ers will be on the hook to pay Jefferson until he is fully healthy. After playing at least 14 game in each of his first six seasons in the NFL, the 29-year-old has only played in five games since 2019. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Tavon Wilson will be the next men up on San Francisco's depth chart.
