Suffers torn ACL
Young tore his ACL during Sunday's win over the Texans and will miss the rest of the 2020 season, Daniel Oyefusi of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact
Young missed the entire 2019 season due to a neck injury, but he entered this campaign fully healthy. The 2016 fourth-round pick sustained another season-ending injury, however, so he'll turn his focus to the 2021 season. Young has two years remaining on the three-year, $25.8 million contract extension he signed in February of 2019.

Declared healthy
Young (neck) is now healthy, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official website reports.
Impact
The 2016 fourth-round pick signed a three-year, $25.8 million extension last offseason, expecting to serve as Baltimore's nickelback long term. He then suffered a season-ending neck injury during training camp, but he should be back for Week 1 of 2020 to guard the slot. Young's return should allow Marlon Humphrey to take the vast majority of his snaps outside, teaming up with Young and Marcus Peters to give Baltimore one of the top cornerback groups in the league. The team also retained Jimmy Smith, who has 83 career starts to his name but hasn't played more than 12 games in a season since 2015.
