Not likely to practice this week Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said Wednesday that he doesn't expect Fehoko's (elbow) practice window to open this week, Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com reports.

Impact Fehoko has been on IR since Nov. 6 due to an elbow issue. He's now eligible to be activated, but it doesn't sound like that's going to happen this week. Fehoko had been getting occasional good run prior to his injury, playing at least 73 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps in three of his eight games, but he was inefficient with just six catches on 16 targets -- though he turned those receptions into 106 yards -- over eight games.

Placed on IR The Chargers placed Fehoko (elbow) on injured reserve Wednesday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Fehoko was injured during Sunday's win over the Browns and will now miss at least four games. His earliest possible date for a return is Week 14 at Kansas City (Dec. 8), with the upcoming absence potentially freeing up more snaps for Joshua Palmer, DJ Chark (groin), Jalen Reagor and/or Derius Davis. Rookie Ladd McConkey is locked in as the No. 1 target, with Quentin Johnston having also been a regular starter when healthy.

Impact Fehoko played 79 of the Chargers' offensive snaps Sunday, the highest snap rate of any Los Angeles wideout. Despite leading the wide receiver corps in snaps, the 26-year-old was a complete non-factor against the Saints. The Chargers identity as a run-first team has shifted a bit in recent weeks, but not enough to support multiple wide receivers for fantasy purposes. With Ladd McConkey beginning to break out and Quentin Johnston's (ankle) impending return, Fehoko will remain far off the fantasy radar going forward. The Chargers will visit the Browns in Week 9.

Impact Fehoko played 92 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps Sunday, his highest mark of the season and the most of any Los Angeles wideout in the contest. The fourth-year wideout also saw six targets, another season-high for the 26-year-old. Despite his increased involvement in the offense, Fehoko was unable to make much noise for fantasy purposes against Arizona. Heading into a Week 8 matchup with the Saints, Fehoko remains an unreliable fantasy option in a run-heavy offensive scheme.

With his active status confirmed, he'll mix in at wide receiver for the Chargers along with Brenden Rice and Jalen Reagor behind Joshua Palmer and Ladd McConkey with Quentin Johnston (ankle) and Derius Davis (hamstring) sidelined. In five appearances this season, Fehoko has hauled in three of seven targets for 61 yards.

Chark (groin) and Derius Davis (hamstring) are all listed as questionable. Fehoko did catch two passes for 44 yards last week in the absence of Johnston, and he could see more opportunities in this Los Angeles wide receiver room ravaged by injuries.

Ultimately, his Week 7 fantasy upside hinges on the availability of fellow WRs Quentin Johnston (ankle, DNP on Friday) and Ladd McConkey (hip, LP on Friday).

Impact Fehoko played a season-high 37 snaps in Week 6 against the Broncos and finished the game with two catches (on four targets) for 44 yards. However, it appears the 2021 fifth-round pick may have picked up a shoulder injury during the contest, which limited him in practice Thursday. Fehoko will have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Monday's game against the Cardinals.

Impact Quentin Johnston was in and out of the game with an ankle injury, so Fehoko ended up taking more of the work opposite usual stalwart Ladd McConkey. He's only played more than 30 snaps twice this season, and given the Chargers' limited passing attack, Fehoko is still outside of the fantasy radar for the majority of formats.

Going forward, Fehoko doesn't hold much fantasy value, especially when Palmer can make his return to the lineup. The Chargers host the Chiefs in Week 4.

Impact Facing the team he made his NFL debut with in 2021, Fehoko got under a deep pass from Easton Stick on the first play of the second quarter, shed his defender and stayed in bounds before sprinting into the end zone. Fehoko is fighting for one of the last spots on an unsettled wide receiver depth chart following the offseason departures of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams (knee), but even Saturday's big play might not have been enough to claim a job on the season-opening roster. The Stanford product may have to settle for a spot on the Chargers' practice squad instead.

Impact It's unclear why Fehoko suddenly saw 16 offensive snaps after being limited to just special teams duties in the prior two games with the Chargers, but the third-year player was able to make the most of it by scoring his first career touchdown. Fehoko really never got many opportunities with the Cowboys in past seasons, but at the very least it's clear offensive coordinator Kellen Moore does value the big-bodied target somewhat.
