Impact Joseph-Day's move to IR seemed like a formality after it was announced Friday he was in need of surgery to repair his torn pectoral muscle. He has not been ruled out for the season yet, and a timetable for a return won't be known until after the surgery. Greg Gaines will now step into a starting role along the Rams' defensive line.
