Removed from practice squad IR The Browns restored Switzer (undisclosed) from the practice squad injured list Tuesday.

Impact Switzer was placed on the list in early November. The Browns currently have three wide receivers on injured reserve, and KhaDarel Hodge (hamstring) is questionable heading into Week 14, so Switzer could be in line for a promotion before the season ends.

Impact Switzer sustained the injury during Tuesday's practice and hasn't made it back onto the field yet, but Tomlin doesn't seem too concerned. The 25-year-old should return soon, but most of his contributions this year will be as a returner since the Steelers selected receiver Chase Claypool in the second round of April's draft.
