Scores twice in blowout win Chubb rushed 14 times for 137 yards and two touchdowns while catching both of his targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 41-16 win over the Bengals.

Impact Chubb gave the Browns a 14-7 second-quarter lead with a one-yard rushing touchdown, then burst past everybody for a 70-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to put Cleveland up 31-10. While Chubb dominated, D'Ernest Johnson produced just 16 yards on eight rushing attempts. With Kareem Hunt (calf) expected to remain sidelined in Week 10 against the Patriots, Chubb should continue to see the majority of playing time in Cleveland's backfield, especially by the goal line.

Tough sledding in return Chubb carried the ball 16 times for 61 yards and caught his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Steelers.

Impact Returning to action after a two-game absence, Chubb saw most of the touches out of the Cleveland backfield but couldn't find much running room, and he saw D'Ernest Johnson vulture a touchdown in the third quarter. The 61 rushing yards were a season low for Chubb, who will look to rebound in Week 9 against the Bengals.

Clear to play Sunday Chubb (calf) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game versus the Steelers, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Impact Chubb was limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday after sitting out the past two games with the calf injury, but he practiced with no limitations Friday and avoided the questionable tag. The 25-year-old should operate in a workhorse role with Kareem Hunt (calf) still on injured reserve, though D'Ernest Johnson, who had 168 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown Week 7, should still be involved as a secondary option in the backfield.

Impact Chubb previously noted that he hopes to play this weekend against the Steelers, but his Week 8 availability hinges on how his calf responds to the work he's been getting at practice this week. It seems safe to assume he'll head into the weekend with an injury designation, but once Friday's practice is complete, we should have a better idea of the level of optimism attached to Chubb's status for Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
