Gets opportunity with Indianapolis The Colts signed Noel to a contract Friday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Impact Noel was let go by the Dolphins last week, but the undrafted free agent out of Missouri will get another chance to make an NFL roster with the Colts. While he's a longshot to make the 53-man roster, a strong performance in training camp and in the Colts' final two preseason games would give Noel a chance to stick around on the practice squad.

Impact Noel signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in May, but he will no longer be with the team for training camp. He started in 11 games in his final collegiate season in Missouri and recorded 163 carries for 818 yards and three touchdowns. Assuming he clears waivers, Noel will look to join a team looking for backfield depth.

Headed to Miami Noel signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent Friday.

Impact The 23-year-old running back spent the first four years of his collegiate career at Appalachian State before transferring to Missouri in 2024. During his final college season, Noel ran for 818 yards and three touchdowns on 163 carries, averaging 5.0 yards per carry. He's also proved to be a reliable receiving option out of the backfield, catching 55 passes over his final three years in college. Now in Miami, Noel is expected to compete for a depth role in the team's running back room throughout the summer.
