Impact Forristall has been on the Browns' practice squad since the middle of September and is well versed in the offense, per head coach Kevin Stefanski. If Cleveland is down two tight ends, it would have only Forristall and starting tight end Austin Hooper available. They would be forced to use an offensive lineman for their 13 personnel alignments, which is a regular feature of the offense when Bryant and Njoku are healthy.

Signed to active roster The Browns signed Forristall to the active roster from their practice squad Tuesday.

Impact Forristall spent the first week of the season on the Titans' practice squad before joining the Browns' practice squad Sept. 20. He was elevated for the team's Week 8 contest against the Bengals but never saw the field. The undrafted rookie free agent will have his best chance to make his NFL debut in Week 14, as David Njoku and Stephen Carlson are both on the COVID-19 list, and Harrison Bryant (ankle) is doubtful.
