Impact Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reported that Kamara suffered a torn ACL. The undrafted free agent out of Indiana will now spend the duration of the 2026 season on IR.

Impact The undrafted free agent out of Indiana was carted off the practice field with a knee issue on Saturday, and it seems the severity of the injury will keep him out of active-roster contention for the 2026 season. When Kamara likely clears waivers, he will revert to the 49ers' injured reserve for the remainder of the season unless an injury settlement is reached.
