Impact With Marvin Mims (concussion) being ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, Bandy has been elevated to the active roster for his first regular-season game as a Bronco. The wide receiver finished the preseason with six catches for 59 yards while logging 13 yards on two punt returns. Bandy will likely operate in a reserve capacity as the second punt returner behind Riley Moss. He will also be the fifth wide receiver behind Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, and Trent Sherfield.

Impact Bandy took advantage of Los Angeles' depleted wideout corps in 2022 and made 10 appearances, catching 10 of 21 targets for 89 yards. The undrafted product of out San Diego has experience as a kick returner too and should be able to latch on with a new team ahead of training camp.

Impact Bandy played at least 58 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps in each of the team's games between Week 7 and Week 10, but he saw just eight snaps (12 percent) Sunday. That was largely due to the return of both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams (ankle), though Williams reaggravated his injury in the first half. Even if Williams is forced to miss Week 12, Bandy probably won't be a major contributor with Allen back on the field and Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter seemingly ahead of him on the receiver depth chart.

Bandy may not fall out of the game plan entirely, however, as the Chargers are likely to be without Mike Williams (ankle) for at least a couple of games.
