Returning to Detroit Badgley and the Lions agreed to a contract Friday, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.

Impact Badgley joined the Lions in early October and was still able to tally 100 points while serving as the placekicker for the team's final 12 games. He'll now return to Detroit for the 2023 campaign, one that many expect to be a leap forward for the Lions after a promising 2022.

At least he was fed a healthy amount of PATs this time around to buoy his fantasy output. Next up for Badgley is a Week 18 matchup with a beatable Packers defense within the outdoor confines of Lambeau Field.

This led to a lack of opportunities for Badgley, who didn't attempt a field goal until the final minute of the game and was hindered along the way by both a Lions red-zone fumble plus Detroit's decision to go for two after a touchdown in the first half. He'll look to bounce back against Chicago in Week 17 within the friendly confines of Ford Field.
