Status for Week 8 uncertain Coach John Harbaugh said Monday that how well Ingram (ankle) holds up in practice will determine his availability for Week 8, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Ingram has the benefit of coming off a full week of rest during Baltimore's bye, and Harbaugh reaffirmed that his injury isn't considered major. Still, given that the veteran running back is nursing a mid-to-high left ankle sprain, it's no lock that he'll be ready to face the Steelers on Sunday. Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins would be in line to split Baltimore's backfield reps if Ingram were forced to miss any time.

Impact Ingram was knocked out of Sunday's win at Philadelphia, receiving a season-low offensive snap share of 12 percent. He only managed five carries for 20 yards, which marked the fifth time in six games in which he failed to surpass 40 yards from scrimmage. The Ravens have entered their Week 7 bye, so Ingram may have enough time to recover for their next contest Nov. 1 against the Steelers. Behind Ingram, Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins are the next running backs up for Baltimore.
