INJURIES

Taken to locker room Wilson is being evaluated for a concussion, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Wilson contributed five tackles and one tackle for loss prior to his departure. The Alabama product has dealt with knee and hip issues during his second pro campaign, but now he'll endure his first stint in concussion protocol. As long as Wilson is unavailable, Elijah Lee is expected to serve as a fill-in at an outside linebacker spot.

Suiting up against Philly Wilson (hip) is active Week 11 against Philadelphia, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
Impact Wilson was able to log one limited practice on Friday, and that will ultimately be enough for the second-year linebacker to get clearance to play. Cleveland will need all the help it can get on defense this week with top pass rusher Myles Garrett (illness) sidelined for the contest.

Carries questionable tag Wilson (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Eagles, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Impact Wilson surfaced on the injury report Thursday when he logged a DNP, and it's discouraging to see his participation downgrade during the practice week. Nevertheless, he still has a chance to play this week, but there's a chance he's on a pitch count if that happens. The second-year linebacker has averaged just 3.2 tackles per game over the past seven weeks, so his status shouldn't disrupt the plans of fantasy managers.

Big hit: Browns star Garrett on COVID list, out for Eagles

Cleveland Browns defensive star Myles Garrett has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Sunday’s game against the Philadephia Eagles
NOVEMBER 20, 2020 • Associated Press
Sitting out practice Wilson didn't participate in Thursday's practice due to a hip injury, Andrew Gribble of the team's official site reports.
Impact The specifics of the injury remain unclear, as Wilson saw action in 54 percent of defensive snaps in last week's win over the Texans. Expect Wilson's practice status Friday be a better indication of his chances to suit up in Sunday's game against the Eagles, but if he's forced to miss time, Malcolm Smith would be in line for the start at weakside linebacker.

More run Week 4 Wilson recorded one tackle and played 27 snaps in Sunday's 49-38 win over Dallas.
Impact Wilson increased his snap count from six to 27 in his second week back from a knee injury. The 2019 fifth-round pick, who averaged 60 snaps per contest during his rookie season, is expected to be a mainstay in the Browns' linebacking corps once he's ready to play more.
OCTOBER 6, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Barely plays in Week 3 Wilson logged six defensive snaps in Sunday's 34-20 win over Washington.
Impact Coach Kevin Stefanski relayed that this was the plan, as the Browns wanted to ease Wilson back into game action, per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal. Wilson's expected to play more going forward, but he still may not log a full workload in Week 4 against the Cowboys.

Set for 2020 debut Wilson (knee) is active Week 3 against Washington.
Impact Wilson had been lined up to make his season debut following a week of limited practice sessions, but it doesn't appear he'll start just yet, as the gameday report lists Malcolm Smith as the starter at weak-side linebacker.
SEPTEMBER 27, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Limited in practice Friday Wilson (knee) was limited during Friday's practice and is considered questionable for Sunday's game versus Washington, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Impact Wilson was limited during every practice this week, but he has a chance to make his season debut Sunday. He's expected to start at weak-side linebacker if he indeed suits up, but if he misses a third straight contest, Malcolm Smith will likely enjoy a high snap volume again.

Downgraded Wednesday Wilson (knee) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Impact Wilson returned to practice Monday after he missed the past two games of the season with the knee issue. This is certainly bad news for his Week 3 availability, however, it's not enough to completely rule him out again. Once Wilson finally returns, he'll likely assume his starting role as the weak-side linebacker on defense.

SEPTEMBER 21, 2020 • CLEVELANDBROWNS.COM
Participates in practice Monday Wilson (knee) returned to practice Monday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Impact Wilson missed the first two games but could make his season debut in Week 3 versus Washington. It will depend how he responds to a full week of practice, but he's on the right track for now. If Wilson indeed returns, he's expected to start at weak-side linebacker where he posted 82 tackels, seven pass breakups, a sack and an interception over 16 games last season.
