Activated off NFI list
The Bills activated Shenault (lower leg) off the active/non-football injury list Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact
Shenault is healthy again after having been sidelined for the start of training camp due to a lower leg strain. The 26-year-old is expected to serve as one of the team's primary kick returns during the upcoming campaign and could contribute as a depth receiver as well.

Dealing with lower leg strain
The Bills placed Shenault on the active/non-football injury list Wednesday due to a lower leg strain, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Impact
Shenault was withheld from participating in Wednesday's practice, and while he's eligible to practice and play in the preseason at any point, head coach Sean McDermott did not share a timetable for the veteran wideout's return, per Alec White of the Bills' official site. Shenault signed a one-year deal with the Bills in March after playing in 11 regular-season games for the Seahawks in 2024, finishing with five catches on as many targets for 36 yards while adding 459 kick return yards and a touchdown.

Signing with Buffalo
Shenault is slated to sign with the Bills, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact
The kickoff returner and wide receiver spent 2024 with the Seahawks and Chargers before being cut from LA's practice squad in early January. Shenault finished the season with 459 kickoff return yards and a touchdown, but he caught just five passes for 36 yards. The Bills will likely have at least Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Josh Palmer ahead of Shenault on the wide receiver depth chart to begin the offseason.

Reverts to practice squad
Shenault reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Impact
Shenault was elevated to the Chargers' roster for the second week in a row, failing to record any stats while playing seven snaps on offense and 13 snaps with the special-teams unit in Sunday's 40-17 loss to Tampa Bay. The wide receiver appears to be in line to be elevated again for Thursday night's matchup with the Broncos.

Gets elevated for Week 15
Shenault was elevated from the Chargers' practice squad to their active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Shenault joined Los Angeles' practice squad last Thursday and could get his first game action with the club Sunday. He spent the majority of the campaign with Seattle, catching five of five targets for 36 yards over 11 games while also returning kicks before he was waived Dec. 2. Shenault could see some reps on offense against Tampa Bay on Sunday with Jalen Reagor (finger) landing on injured reserve Saturday and with Ladd McConkey (knee/shoulder) questionable to suit up. Shenault is also an option to replace Reagor as an option for returning kicks behind Derius Davis.

Claimed by Bolts
The Chargers claimed Shenault off waivers Thursday.
Impact
Shenault was waived by the Seahawks on Monday following a tough outing against the Jets on Sunday. He fumbled the ball twice in that contest, the second of which was recovered by the Jets in Seahawks' territory. Shenault gives the Chargers another return option on special teams, and he could be elevated to the Chargers' active roster for Week 14 against Kansas City if Ladd McConkey (knee) is unable to play.

Dropped by Seahawks
The Seahawks waived Shenault on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Impact
Shenault's rough performance in Sunday's win over the Jets, which included an ugly fumble after a 10-yard kickoff return that gave the Jets the ball at the Seahawks' 38-yard line, likely led to him being waived Monday. The 2020 second-round pick from Colorado caught all five of his targets for 36 yards and also accumulated 459 kickoff return yards and one kick-return touchdown over 11 appearances this season. He could find work in the near future with a team in need of a kick returner.
