INJURIES

Another touchdown in win McConkey caught four of his six targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in the 34-17 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.
Impact McConkey will be hard pressed to surpass his yardage total from last year given the litany of offensive line injuries Los Angeles has tried to survive, but the second-year wideout has quietly become a potent scoring threat tallying his 13th touchdown of his career Sunday. The 24-year-old has yet to surpass 50 receiving yards since a stretch of exceeding that mark five straight weeks dating back to Week 6-10. That's a direct relation to the injury to Joe Alt (ankle) and should serve as a reminder to fantasy managers looking ahead to a difficult matchup against the Texans in Week 17.

Limited to two catches in win McConkey secured two of three targets for 20 yards in the Chargers' 16-13 win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
Impact McConkey was once again quiet in the gritty road win, finishing with less than 25 receiving yards for the third time in the last four games. McConkey's muted afternoon was all the more noteworthy considering the absence of Quentin Johnston (groin), and his target tally was his lowest of the season. The second-year wideout will look to exploit an inconsistent Cowboys secondary in a Week 16 road showdown next Sunday.

Is Ladd McConkey playing today? Latest news, buzz on Chargers WR Chargers Wide Receiver Ladd McConkey has been dealing with a foot injury ahead of today's matchup. What are the latest details?
DECEMBER 14 • SI.COM
Set to play in Week 15 McConkey (foot) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Kansas City.
Impact A foot injury limited McConkey in all three Week 15 practices, but it won't impact his ability to suit up this weekend. He's been relatively quiet in two contests since the Chargers' Week 12 bye, hauling in just five of 11 targets for 51 yards and one touchdown. Fellow WR Quentin Johnston (groin) is listed as questionable, so a bit more volume could be coming McConkey's way if the former is inhibited or sidelined Sunday.
DECEMBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Another limited practice McConkey (foot) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Impact After being on the field for 86 percent of the Chargers' snaps on offense in Monday's 22-19 overtime win over the Eagles, McConkey has logged back-to-back limited practice sessions. Friday's final injury report will thus reveal whether the wideout, who hauled in just one of his five targets for 12 yards versus Philadelphia, carries an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
DECEMBER 11 • ROTOWIRE
Logs limited practice Wednesday McConkey (foot) was limited at practice Wednesday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Impact McConkey was on the field for 86 percent of the Chargers' snaps on offense in Monday's 22-19 overtime win over the Eagles, en route to catching just one of his five targets for 12 yards. Assuming the wideout's foot issue doesn't affect his Week 15 status, McConkey is a bounce-back candidate Sunday against the Chiefs, with QB Justin Herbert, who played through a left hand injury versus Philadelphia, noting Wednesday that he's in a healthier spot than he was this time last week.

Justin Herbert Fires Side-Arm Strike to Ladd McConkey Quarterback Justin Herbert makes a Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher miss and delivers 12-yard side-arm strike to Ladd McConkey.
DECEMBER 9 • CHARGERS.COM
Minimal looks against top pass rush McConkey caught just one of his five targets for 12 yards in the 22-19 overtime win over the Eagles on Sunday.
Impact The entire Los Angeles passing attack struggled to do much of anything as Justin Herbert was pressured on close to 60 percent of his dropbacks. It's at least encouraging the second-year standout led the team in targets, but similar issues could be present in Arrowhead the following week as Los Angeles takes on a Kansas City team trying to keep its playoff hopes alive.

QB Justin Herbert breaks bone in left hand, but he's optimistic about playing for Chargers next week

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will have surgery Monday to repair a broken bone in his non-throwing hand
DECEMBER 1 • Associated Press
Scores TD in easy win McConkey caught four of his six targets for 39 yards and a score in the 31-14 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
Impact McConkey led the team in targets in a game in which the Raiders' pitiful offense rarely threatened the Chargers. More notable was the injury to Justin Herbert in the first half, which will require surgery Monday on his non-throwing handle to stabilize a fracture. Herbert played through the injury Sunday with noticeable padding protecting the left hand, and both coach Jim Harbaugh and the quarterback himself believe he could play Week 14. McConkey's fantasy value will obviously be impacted by Herbert's availability, but regardless the second-year wide receiver has failed to record more than six targets in any of the past four games largely due to negative game scripts.

Chargers return from bye trying to get back on track against reeling Raiders, losers of 5 straight

The Los Angeles Chargers host the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday as the reeling AFC West rivals try to get back on track
NOVEMBER 26 • Associated Press
Limited to three catches in loss McConkey brought in three of four targets for 13 yards in the Chargers' 35-6 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
Impact McConkey had a forgettable afternoon in a shockingly lopsided loss for the Chargers that saw Justin Herbert pulled early after throwing for only 81 yards and an interception. McConkey's yardage total was his second lowest of the season, and it snapped a five-game streak 55-plus receiving yard efforts. The ugly afternoon for the air attack was a clear outlier, so McConkey is a good bounce-back candidate in a Week 13 home matchup against the Raiders on Sunday, Nov. 30 following a Week 12 bye.
NOVEMBER 16 • ROTOWIRE
Cleared to face Jaguars McConkey (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Impact McConkey upgraded to full practice participation Friday after limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. Having reestablished himself as Justin Herbert's top target in recent weeks, McConkey has scored in four of his last six games heading into Sunday's matchup against a vulnerable Jacksonville secondary that has allowed 11 touchdowns through the air in its last three games.
NOVEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Remains limited Thursday McConkey (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Impact McConkey and Quentin Johnston (shin) have both opened the week with back-to-back limited practices. McConkey's ability to participate under a limited snap count indicates that the issue isn't a long-term concern, but a full practice Friday would likely clear him from an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Jaguars. If McConkey is unable to play or operates on a snap count in Week 11, then Derius Davis and rookies Tre' Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith would all be poised for an increase in snaps on offense.

Limited by ankle issue McConkey (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Impact The same applies to fellow wideout Quentin Johnston (shin), with both players managing new injury issues ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. While recording a 71 percent snap share in the Chargers' Week 10 win over the Steelers, McConkey had four catches on six targets for a team-high 107 yards and a touchdown, while Johnston recorded a 5/42/0 receiving line on 10 targets.
