Strikes for first TD since Week 3 Osborn reeled in five of seven targets for 95 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Lions.

Impact Osborn may have benefitted slightly from rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison departing late in the second quarter with an ankle injury. Having said that, Osborn had two 14-yard catches on the Vikings' first possession, and he then had gains of 47, six (for a TD) and 14 after halftime. The team's No. 1 wide receiver Justin Jefferson looked like himself with 6-141-1 on 10 targets, but if Addison is forced to miss any time, Osborn and Brandon Powell (3-53-0 on four targets Sunday) would stand to benefit against an exploitable Packers defense next Sunday, Dec. 31.

Sticks as No. 3 wideout in Week 15 Osborn played 37 of the Vikings' 68 snaps on offense (54 percent) and finished with one catch for three yards on two targets in Saturday's 27-24 overtime loss to the Bengals.

Impact Osborn played fewer than 60 percent of the Vikings' snaps for the second week in a row, with both rates representing his lowest snap shares of the season aside from Week 9 in Atlanta, when he exited early due to a concussion. With rookie first-round pick Jordan Addison having moved into an every-down role and with Justin Jefferson healthy again after coming off injured reserve and overcoming a chest injury that limited his snaps Week 14, Osborn now looks like the clear No. 3 wideout for Minnesota. Osborn is unlikely to rank higher than fourth in the pecking order for targets in a given week, however, as tight end T.J. Hockenson typically garners a healthy share of looks along with Jefferson and Addison.

Impact Osborn was motionless on the field for several minutes before being carted off the field during last week's win over the Falcons after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit from Atlanta cornerback Dee Alford. He was diagnosed with a concussion soon thereafter, but despite the scary nature of the head injury, Osborn made rapid progress through the five-step protocol. After returning to practice Thursday in a limited fashion, Osborn turned in a full practice Friday and then passed the final step of the protocol by gaining clearance from an independent neurologist. However, Werder says both Osborn and coaches are leaning toward having the wideout sit out Sunday, likely for precautionary purposes more than anything. Official confirmation on Osborn's status will arrive when the Vikings post their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, but if he's sidelined, more targets could open up for depth receivers such as Brandon Powell and Trishton Jackson.
