Joins active roster The Eagles signed Jones off their practice squad Wednesday.
Impact Jones has looked solid in a depth role at wideout after being elevated from the practice squad for the past two games, hauling in two of three targets for 11 yards and a touchdown between those contests. He's now earned a promotion to the active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup with Dallas, but Jones is still expected to remain behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Olamide Zaccheaus in the pecking order at receiver.

Jones again had exactly one catch, but it went for an eight-yard touchdown. He has only 64 TD grabs among the 905 receptions in his 13-year career, but his size (6-foot-3, 220 pounds) could yield the occasional red-zone target, even in a loaded receiving corps.

Impact Jones remains in a small role for the Eagles, playing 15 snaps this week after playing 16 in his season debut. The 34-year-old showed he still has value in the red zone, holding onto the ball through a big hit after Jalen Hurts found him in a tight window. The Eagles may have viewed him as a red-zone specialist when they elected to bring him in, which does boost his fantasy value, but his total volume of snaps and targets will likely remain low enough to make him unappealing in most leagues.

After Quez Watkins (hamstring) was placed on IR on Oct. 17, Jones was signed to the team's practice squad to provide depth behind A.J. Impact In terms of offensive snaps, Jones (16 of 72) was a distant third behind DeVonta Smith (69), A.J. Brown (59) and Olamide Zaccheaus (41) in his debut with the Eagles during Sunday's 31-17 win against the Dolphins. Jones also caught his only target for three yards. It's unclear how much Jones has left to give at 34 years old, but he did combine for a 55-733-3 line on 90 targets in 20 games between the Titans and Buccaneers from 2021-22.
