Impact Perkins apparently impressed enough during his weekend workout with San Francisco to earn a spot on the roster early in training camp. The tight end suffered an upper-body injury in camp last year and spent the entire 2020 campaign on injured reserve with the Eagles.

Impact Perkins looked in line to handle a key reserve role for Philadelphia before he suffered a significant upper body injury during practice over the weekend. In his stead, Noah Togiai and Caleb Wilson will look to pick up the slack behind top tight ends Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert.
