Abram dealt with minor shoulder and calf injuries earlier in the week, but he's now tallied 48 total tackles and two passes defensed through the first six games of the season.

Toward the end of the season, Abram began playing a box safety role that entailed him functioning more as a linebacker, where he was able to stop the run and pressure the quarterback more often. Abram believes that role fits his talents best, and new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley has already revealed his plans to feature Abram accordingly.
