Logs one carry in Week 2 Taylor saw just one snap on offense in Sunday's 35-30 loss to the Seahawks, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Impact That came in the third quarter of the contest, when Taylor lost a yard on his sole carry of the evening. The rookie also returned three kickoffs for 69 yards. Taylor remains behind Sony Michel, James White and Rex Burkhead in the Patriots' running back pecking order and is off the fantasy radar for now.

Logs four carries in opener Taylor was on the field for nine of a possible 64 snaps on offense in Sunday's 21-11 win over the Dolphins, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Impact In the process, Taylor carried four times for 28 yards and caught his only target for four yards. Though it's encouraging to see Taylor get a handful of touches in his NFL debut, he's still behind Sony Michel, James White and Rex Burkhead in the Patriots' running back pecking order.

The 5-foot-6, 185-pounder probably won't see a big role for the team initially, but Taylor has drawn comparisons to Dion Lewis, so he could end up working his way into a change-of-pace role for the Patriots in time.

Draws comparison to Dion Lewis Patriots' running backs coach Ivan Fears has noted that that Taylor reminds him of Dion Lewis, Phil Perry of NBC Boston reports.

Impact The most obvious reason for the comparison is that Taylor is 5-foot-6, 185 pounds, while Lewis -- who enjoyed some success with the Patriots a few seasons back -- checks in at 5-foot-8, 195 pounds. Like Lewis, Taylor is quick and has some pass-catching skills, so it's possible that the UDFA out of the University of Arizona could earn a spot on the team's regular-season roster or practice squad. It would take several breaks in his favor, however, for Taylor to make a fantasy impact as a rookie.
