Sticking with Titans Brown re-signed Wednesday with the Titans on a one-year deal worth up to $5.25 million, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Impact Brown will return for a fifth season in Tennessee. The linebacker started in all 10 of his appearances with the team in 2020, notching 76 tackles (45 solo), one sack and eight pass breakups.

Impact This is excellent news after Brown, a pending unrestricted free agent, suffered a dislocated and fractured elbow back in November, ending his season. Prior to the injury, Brown started all 10 games for the Titans, producing 76 tackles, eight pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a sack. With a clean bill of health in hand, Brown is considered to be one of the top linebackers on the market when the new league year begins March 17.

However, he made a strong impact while on the field, playing in more than 90 percent of the defensive snaps in each of his full contests. He was also impactful in the passing game, tying his career best in pass breakups despite the shortened campaign. Brown's rookie contract will expire in the new league year, meaning he could be suiting up for a new team for the 2021 campaign.
