Impact Landry has logged back-to-back limited practice sessions since beginning the week as a non-participant. With Michael Thomas (foot) already ruled out and Jameis Winston (back/ankle/hip) listed as doubtful, the slot specialist's presence would certainly be to the benefit of likely starter Andy Dalton. As long as Landry is able to suit up, he will stand to lead New Orleans' wide receiving corps alongside rookie first-round standout Chris Olave.

Impact Head coach Dennis Allen previously suggested Landry would practice in some capacity Wednesday, but the slot specialist ultimately went down as a non-participant on the Saints' first official Week 4 report. Landry was able to take a step forward in terms of activity Thursday, and so long as he can maintain at least limited participation Friday, he should have a good chance at suiting up Sunday against the Vikings. Meanwhile, the statuses of No. 1 wideout Michael Thomas (foot) and quarterback Jameis Winston (back/ankle/hip) are more in question after both were sidelined at practice Wednesday and Thursday, making the New Orleans passing game one of the more complicated ones to project for Week 4.

Impact Landry's official designation on Wednesday's injury report is 'DNP,' although coach Dennis Allen said earlier the same day that he would practice in a limited fashion. Michael Thomas (toe) and Jameis Winston (back/ankle) also sat out Wednesday, while Alvin Kamara (ribs) was limited. Landry and company will have two more days to ramp up their activity levels, but it's possible that the Saints' offensive personnel could be significantly hampered during Sunday's matchup against the Vikings.

Impact Landry is one of three Saints receivers on the Week 4 injury report, as Michael Thomas (toe) didn't practice Wednesday while Tre'Quan Smith (concussion) did some work off to the side before mixing into drills. So long as Landry can maintain limited activity in practice the next two days or even upgrade to full activity, he should be in good shape to play Sunday against the Vikings in London.

Tending to ankle injury Landry departed Sunday's game in Carolina in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Impact In the span of a few minutes, Landry and then Michael Thomas (foot) left the contest to be checked for injuries. Landry was downgraded from probable to questionable and eventually doubtful to return, which also can be said for Thomas. The statuses of the duo thus will need to be monitored as the Saints prepare for a Week 4 matchup with the Vikings.
