Could miss most of September Reagor (shoulder) isn't expected to require surgery but could be out for about four weeks, according to Geoff Mosher of 97.5 The Fanatic Philadelphia.

Impact The timeline shouldn't be considered definitive by any means, as the Eagles are still waiting for results from an MRI. The rookie first-round pick injured his shoulder during Sunday's practice and was taken back to the locker room shortly thereafter. With Reagor now in serious danger of missing Week 1, the Eagles could turn to J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and/or John Hightower for perimeters snaps across from DeSean Jackson. For what it's worth, Reagor tweeted "B Back Soon" a couple hours after his exit from Sunday's practice. Meanwhile, Drew Davison of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram reports Reagor has been diagnosed with a small labrum team, with the expectation he'll miss Week 1 but could be back as as soon as Week 2.

Impact Reagor suffered the injury during Sunday's practice while trying to make a tackle on an interception. He was evaluated on the sideline before heading off to the locker room, and he'll now need additional tests to provide a diagnosis. The rookie has been getting plenty of work with the first-string offense, making a strong bid for the starting spot opposite DeSean Jackson. Any absence could free up more playing time for J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Greg Ward or John Hightower.

Impact During team drills, Reagor suffered an injury while trying to tackle Will Parks, who intercepted Jalen Hurts. After being evaluated on the sidelines, Reagor was quickly escorted to the locker room with trainers. It appears the rookie's day is done, and the team will conduct further testing before updating his status. This is quite concerning, as Reagor has been impressive in camp and was expected to be a Week 1 starter opposite DeSean Jackson.

Being prepped for key role Reagor appears ready for a "significant role" in the Eagles offense, according to Les Bowen of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Impact The first-round pick has made a strong impression on local beat reporters, with Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia and Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer both supporting Bowen's assessment of Reagor emerging as a Day 1 contributor. That doesn't necessarily mean the rookie will have an every-down role in September, but it's at least within his range of possibilities, as there's no other obvious candidate for the starting job across from DeSean Jackson. Reports do suggest that J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and a few other wide receivers have looked good in camp, so it's possible the Eagles try to find playing time for four or five guys Week 1 at Washington. Most of the fantasy appeal lies with Jackson and Reagor.

That the 21-year-old has done so without OTAs or preseason games is even more impressive.

Learning new spot in Philly offense Reagor says he takes pride in being adaptable, noting that he's been learning the "X" receiver spot in coach Doug Pederson's offense, Daniel Gallen of PennLive.com reports.

Impact Pederson said in June that Reagor would start off studying the Z spot behind DeSean Jackson, who is now healthy after missing 13 games last season. But that plan assumes the Eagles have good options for the X and slot roles, which doesn't really appear to be the case with Alshon Jeffery rehabbing from Lisfranc surgery and Marquise Goodwin opting out of the 2020 season. The Eagles may need Reagor in a top-three role out of the gate, and his 4.47 speed in a 206-pound frame hints at inside/outside versatility. The X role probably offers his best shot at immediate fantasy value, as Jackson figures to take most of the Z snaps, while the slot receiver (possibly Greg Ward) will frequently come off the field to make room for No. 2 tight end Dallas Goedert. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside is also expected to compete for the X job, but he'll need to take a big step forward from last year to avoid being left in the dust by Philly's first-round pick.
