Impact Hurd suffered a torn ACL during August of the 2020 campaign, but he was expected to be healthy heading into training camp this season. However, he was still forced to miss practices throughout camp due to a lingering knee issue. The 2019 third-round pick was able to appear in one preseason game, registering five touches for 28 yards, but he was still limited by the knee injury and was eventually placed on injured reserve at the beginning of the regular season. Now, it appears that he may spend his third straight full season on injured reserve.
