Inks reserve/future deal Tampa Bay signed Verity to a reserve/future contract Wednesday.

Impact Verity, who dealt with an undisclosed injury at the beginning of August, was waived from the Jaguars' injured reserve list with a settlement in September. The kicker was brought in by the Falcons for a visit later that month, but he ultimately remained a free agent for the remainder of the campaign. With his new deal, the 25-year-old kicker will have a chance to show he's healthy and compete for a roster spot during the offseason. Verity is now with his fourth organization since signing with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent ahead of the 2021 campaign, but he's still looking to make his NFL debut.

Indianapolis signed Verity to a reserve/future contract in February and opted to let Michael Badgley test free agency, so it appeared like Verity would have a chance to win the starting gig. However, now that both kickers are healthy, it sounds like the Colts will give Blankenship some leeway as he attempts to reclaim his role after being sidelined for the majority of last year with a hip injury.
