Impact The quarterback has been elevated to the active roster two consecutive weeks to serve as the backup to Geno Smith, but now he will have to be signed to the 53 man roster if he is asked to backup again. Russell Wilson (finger) is nearing a return but can't be activated until Nov. 14, so Luton or the recently signed Jacob Eason could serve as the second option at QB for the Seahawks in Week 8 versus the Jaguars.
