INJURIES

Busy in win over Cards Everett caught six of seven targets for 44 yards during Sunday's 38-28 win over Arizona.
Impact While most of Everett's work came around the line of scrimmage Sunday, he did take advantage of Arizona playing soft defense and took a short pass 22 yards for a first down in the fourth quarter with the score 24-21 for the Rams. It proved to be an especially key third-down conversion with running back Darrell Henderson scoring three plays later, and Los Angeles was in the driver's seat from then on. Everett isn't posting monster fantasy numbers, and fellow tight end Tyler Higbee remains involved and scored a first-half touchdown Sunday. Still, Everett continues to show signs of his long-term potential and could prove to be a serviceable contributor next year, especially if he signs with a team needing a pass-catching tight end following the expiration of his rookie contract. He's a potential stash candidate in deep keeper/dynasty settings.

Only targeted twice in loss Everett caught both his targets for 16 yards during Sunday's 23-20 loss to San Francisco.
Impact This was Everett's lowest receiving yardage total since Week 4, and while he hasn't been padding his stat line or significantly moving the fantasy needle, Sunday's showing was a little disappointing. Fellow tight end Tyler Higbee missed practice all week with an elbow injury, so there was potential for Everett to have a bigger impact. As it stands, Everett is a tough start in the majority of fantasy settings, and with Higbee in the mix and Los Angeles committed to spreading the ball around on the ground and through the air, the fourth-year tight end probably won't see his value increase down the stretch.
NOVEMBER 30, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Moves the chains against Tampa Everett caught four of five targets for 27 yards during Monday's 27-24 win over the Buccaneers.
Impact While it was another modest showing from Everett, three of his four receptions resulted in a Los Angeles first down. He continues to be involved in the passing attack, but quarterback Jared Goff spreads the ball around through the air, including to fellow tight end Tyler Higbee. Expect Everett to remain an important piece of the Los Angeles aerial attack, but it probably won't translate into reliable weekly fantasy production in most formats.
NOVEMBER 24, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Almost scores against Seattle Everett caught two of three targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 23-16 win over the Seahawks.
Impact After receiving nine targets Week 8 against Miami, Everett wasn't involved nearly as much following the Rams' bye week with Tyler Higbee back in action. However, Everett did nearly score a touchdown after taking a 16-yard reception to Seattle's 1-yard line. Running back Darrell Henderson scored on the next play. While Everett projects to remain involved in the passing attack, he's difficult to rely on in the majority of fantasy settings.

NOVEMBER 2, 2020 • Associated Press
Targeted nine times in loss Everett caught five of nine targets for 32 yards during Sunday's 28-17 loss to Miami. He played 52 of 95 offensive snaps.
Impact Everett didn't capitalize on his season-high nine targets Sunday, and in particular, his drop on third and five from the Miami 30-yard line late in the game was costly. He was also the target when Dolphins' safety Eric Rowe intercepted Los Angeles quarterback Jared Goff in the second quarter. It wasn't a strong showing from Everett, but the entire offense struggled to find a groove after its opening drive touchdown. It's also important to keep the target volume in context. Goff attempted a season-high 61 passes. Additionally, with fellow tight end Tyler Higbee returning to the field in Week 8, Everett's probably best viewed as a high-risk, medium-reward fantasy option moving forward.

Back to full participation Everett (illness) practiced fully Thursday, Kevin Modesti of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Impact A day removed from missing practice due to illness, Everett was back in the saddle Thursday and even handled every rep. Meanwhile, position mate Tyler Higbee remained limited by a hand contusion, which sidelined him this past Monday against the Bears. If Higbee doesn't gain clearance to play Sunday in Miami, Everett again will be in line to be the Rams' primary TE after going for a 4-28-1 line on five targets Week 7.

Dealing with illness Everett missed Wednesday's walk-through due to an illness, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Impact It's always worrisome to see "illness" listed next to a player's name, but there's no indication Everett's is related to COVID-19. Still, the TE situation will need to be watched closely in L.A. this week with Tyler Higbee (LP on Wednesday) still banged up due to a painful hand contusion. With Higbee sidelined Monday against the Bears, Everett logged a season-best 76 percent of the offensive snaps en route to four catches (on five targets) for 28 yards and one touchdown.
OCTOBER 28, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Touchdown against Bears Everett caught four of five targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 24-10 win over the Bears.
Impact Everett topped Los Angeles' depth chart at tight end with Tyler Higbee (hand) sidelined and capitalized with a 12-yard touchdown to close the third quarter. That marked Everett's first score of this season, and his five targets also set a new high for this year. It's worth noting that reserve tight end Johnny Mundt finished with three grabs for 47 yards Monday, but Everett still figures to benefit most should Higbee miss more time, with a Week 8 matchup in Miami next on the schedule.

In line for more work Everett is slated to be the Rams' leading tight end Monday against the Bears with Tyler Higbee (hand) inactive, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Impact After being targeted a total of five times through the first four games of the campaign, Everett has received four targets in both of the past two contests. During that stretch, he accumulated seven catches for 117 yards and no touchdowns, so he'll be looking to build upon his recent success with an increased workload on tap. Behind Everett, Johnny Mundt and Brycen Hopkins are available for any TE reps that linger.

Held in check by 49ers Everett caught three of four targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 24-16 loss to San Francisco.
Impact While statistically this was an underwhelming showing after Everett recorded 90 receiving yards last week, the Los Angeles offense never found a rhythm in the first half, and Everett tied for second in targets with fellow tight end Tyler Higbee. Higbee had the better fantasy day with three catches for 57 yards and played 45 snaps compared Everett's 30, but the latter continues to be involved in the passing attack. Everett should be on the fantasy radar because his athleticism makes him a big-play threat whenever the ball is in his hands. Unfortunately, he's just one of the many options head coach Sean McVay and quarterback Jared Goff have to turn to.

Leads team in receiving yards Everett secured all four targets for 90 yards in the Rams' 30-10 win over the Washington Football Team on Sunday.
Impact Everett was the surprising leader in receiving yards on the day for the Rams, with a 40-yard grab playing a key role in his tally. The fourth-year pro logged a season high in targets a week after seeing just one versus the Giants, so he'll look to follow this performance with another productive one in a Sunday night Week 6 road matchup against the 49ers.
OCTOBER 11, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Rushes one in Everett caught his only target for 10 yards and scored a two-yard rushing touchdown during Sunday's 17-9 win over the Giants.
Impact Plus athleticism has always been Everett's calling card, and it wouldn't be surprising to see creative head coach Sean McVay continue finding ways to incorporate him into the offensive attack. Additionally, with Everett in the final year of his rookie contract, the Rams might also want to utilize him more before deciding how to approach his pending free agency. After all, the organization did invest a second-round selection in the South Alabama product in the 2017 draft. For the time being, Everett's fantasy value is probably limited to settings with premium scoring for tight ends.

Catches both targets Everett caught both of his targets for 34 yards during Sunday's 35-32 loss to Buffalo.
Impact While his 34 receiving yards hardly moved the fantasy needle, both grabs showed off Everett's athleticism. He's talented and has the potential to be a solid fantasy contributor, but his target share will probably never provide enough opportunities as long as the Rams are healthy, and especially with fellow tight end Tyler Higbee clearly ahead of him on the depth chart. There's still a chance Everett proves to be a late bloomer, so keeper/dynasty managers should add him to their watch lists in case he finds a larger role elsewhere -- he's in the final year of his rookie contract, after all.
