Impact The safety was moved to the COVID list Jan. 4, which forced him to be away from the team for more than a week. Heslop will now return to rehabbing his lower leg injury at the team's facilities as he prepares for the 2022 season.

Impact Heslop suffered the injury in the Seahawks' win over the Texans on Sunday. He stayed in Houston overnight and was to be evaluated Monday, which ultimately lead to him undergoing surgery. The 23-year-old has appeared in three games for the Seahawks this season, notching one tackle, which he recorded before his exit Sunday.

May need surgery Coach Pete Carroll said Heslop suffered a knee injury during Sunday's win over the Texans that may require surgery, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Impact Heslop recorded his first tackle of the season during the Week 14 win, but he suffered what appears to be a significant injury. Dugar reports that Heslop will stay in Houston on Sunday night to properly recover from the initial swelling and will presumably reevaluate his situation Monday.
