Impact The NFL's reigning leading tackler added additional void years onto the three-year, $45 million contract signed last offseason. It's a prudent move for a Jaguars franchise that is riding a wave of optimism following a surprise postseason appearance, but also a necessary one given the team is currently nearly $11 million over the cap.

Leads NFL in tackles Oluokun finished the 2022 regular season with 184 tackles (128 solo), two sacks, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 17 games.

Impact The 27-year-old inked a three-year, $45 million contract with Jacksonville last offseason, and he finished the first year by leading the league in tackles. Oluokun was especially productive following the Jaguars' Week 11 bye, as he averaged 12.9 tackles over the final nine games of the season, playoffs included. He'll be back in Jacksonville for 2023 and should remain a highly productive IDP option coming off back-to-back seasons with over 180 tackles.

Impact Oluokun came up short of double-digit tackles for the second game in a row after logging at least 14 in each of the previous four contests. This also marked the first time the linebacker has not played every defensive snap for Jacksonville this season, as he and the majority of the team's key defensive starters played 74 percent of snaps. Oluokun has now logged 171 tackles this season, and, so long as he logs another solid performance Week 18 versus Tennessee, he should have a chance to finish as the league's leading tackler for the second year in a row.
