Impact Hull and Audric Estime were the only options remaining at running back after Devin Neal (hamstring) exited in the second quarter. Estime finished with 50 scrimmage yards on three carries and three targets. Hull and Estime would likely share backfield work in Week 16 against the Jets if the Saints don't get Neal or Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) back.

Records two touches in Tampa Bay Hull notched one carry for four yards and reeled in his only target for six yards during Sunday's 24-20 victory against the Buccaneers.

Impact With Alvin Kamara out for the second game in a row, Hull once again saw the field in the Saints' injury-riddled running-back room. This week, Devin Neal took on a bigger role as the RB1 with 19 carries, and fellow backup Audric Estime saw more run with three carries compared to zero in the previous game. Hull has now accumulated seven rushing attempts in four career games across his first three seasons. Even if the Saints are hit with more injuries at running back, it's unlikely that Hull will be their first choice to help fill the void. Fantasy owners should expect much out of him during the Week 15 contest versus Carolina.

Logs five carries in NOLA debut Hull tallied five carries for 15 yards during Sunday's 21-17 loss versus Miami.

Impact Alvin Kamara was inactive with an MCL sprain suffered last week, leaving Hull, Devin Neal and Audric Estime as the Saints' three active running backs. Neal handled the bulk of the rushing workload with 14 carries while playing 82 percent of offensive snaps. Meanwhile, Hull played just 18 percent of offensive snaps while Estime never saw the field. Hull appears set to be the RB2 so long as Kamara remains out, but his production probably won't serve much purpose in terms of fantasy value. New Orleans will next play versus Tampa Bay on Sunday, Dec. 7th.

Impact Hull spent most of the past two seasons on the Colts' practice squad but signed a reserve/future contract with Pittsburgh in January. He didn't make much of an impact in Saturday's preseason opener, and it seems most likely that he's simply competing for a spot on the Steelers' practice squad ahead of the regular season.

Impact The assumption is that Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson will operate in a platoon to replace the injured Jonathan Taylor (ankle), but it was Hull, a 2023 fifth-round pick that actually opened as the starting running back in 2023 with Taylor sidelined, only to suffer what became a season-ending knee injury a few plays into his rookie campaign. Hull then put together a solid preseason, but still ultimately was waived in favor of Sermon and Goodson. Fantasy managers should take the Colts at their word when it comes to the running back depth chart, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the second-year pro emerge as an option given Hull's success in a relatively difficult Northwestern offense (1,922 rushing yards across 417 carries in his final two collegiate years).

If he goes unclaimed on waivers, the team may opt to bring Hull back via the practice squad.

Impact Hull was the third running back to enter the game after Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Goodson, but also got time with the first-string offense. Goodson rushed 13 times for 57 yards and caught two of three targets for 10 yards, so the two backs competing for the No. 3 running back job had another similar preseason outing. Trey Sermon hurt his hamstring in the preseason opener, and if he still isn't ready to play by the Sept. 8 regular-season opener against the Texans, Goodson and Hull would likely split change-of-pace duties behind Taylor.

Thus far Sermon had worked as the clear No. 2 man behind Jonathan Taylor, but Wednesday's practice seems like an indication that Hull, one of the better pass-catchers in the Colts' backfield, could be favored for the No. 3 gig over Tyler Goodson.
