Evan Engram - NFL News, Rumors, & Updates

Two catches in TNF win Engram caught both targets for 13 yards in Denver's 17-14 overtime win over the Seahawks on Thursday night.

Impact Engram started and played 31 of 60 offensive snaps, but the Denver passing offense has been stuck in neutral all season to this point. Through six games. Engram has just 12 catches for 134 yards and a touchdown on 19 targets. Bo Nix has to this point refused to throw the ball down the field, and all Denver pass catchers are suffering from it in the box score.

Paces Denver pass catchers in Week 5 win Engram caught all four of his targets for 55 yards during the Broncos' 23-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday.

Impact Engram entered Week 5 with a 2-23-0 receiving line on eight targets across his three prior games. His numbers against the Chargers weren't eye-popping, but Engram still led all Broncos pass catchers in catches and yards while finishing second in targets to Jaylen Waddle (five). It was the first game of the season in which head coach Sean Payton called plays instead of offensive coordinator Davis Webb, so perhaps Engram will be more involved in the gameplan moving forward. The Broncos will operate on a short week and host the Seahawks on Thursday.

5 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE

One snag in defeat Engram caught one of five targets for six yards during Sunday's 24-14 loss to the 49ers.

Impact Engram was held to one or zero receptions for the third straight game, but his five targets matched his season high through four contests. The tight end has produced a meager 66 receiving yards and one touchdown on six catches over 13 targets so far in 2026, making him an especially unattractive fantasy asset.

OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE

Held without catch in Week 3 win Engram failed to haul in his two targets during the Broncos' 30-26 win over the Rams on Sunday.

Impact Although he wasn't listed as a starter, Engram's 40 offensive snaps led all Broncos tight ends, including Adam Trautman (27). That's little comfort to those expecting Engram to at least see some involvement in the offense, with the veteran tight end sporting a 5-60-1 receiving line on eight targets through the first three games of the regular season. He's recorded at least 60 targets in each of his first nine NFL seasons, though he's well behind pace to meet that mark in 2026. Perhaps Engram's fortune will be better in Week 4 against the 49ers, whose defense gave up nine catches (on 11 targets) for 75 yards to Trey McBride in a Week 3 win over the Cardinals.

Held to one catch vs. Jacksonville Engram hauled in his lone target for 17 yards during the Broncos' 20-13 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Impact Engram's five-yard catch early in the second quarter was nullified by an illegal formation penalty. The veteran tight end didn't show up in the box score until his 17-yard grab midway through the fourth quarter, which helped lead to a three-yard rushing touchdown by rookie Jonah Coleman three plays later. Engram was listed as a co-starter at tight end alongside Adam Trautman, with the former playing 32 of 62 offensive snaps (51.6 percent). Engram's offensive production figures to fluctuate on a week-to-week basis, especially with Jaylen Waddle and Courtland Sutton commanding most of the targets from Bo Nix. The Broncos will welcome in the Rams for Week 3 on Sept. 27.

Hauls in TD in Week 1 loss Engram caught four passes on five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown during the Broncos' 31-10 loss to the Chiefs on Monday.

Impact It was a miserable performance by the Broncos' offense in Monday's regular-season opener, though Engram helped Denver tie things up at 7-7 late in the first quarter after hauling in a 19-yard touchdown pass from Bo Nix. Engram led the Broncos in receiving yards and finished second in targets behind Pat Bryant (six). Jaylen Waddle and Courtland Sutton were both held in check by the Chiefs' defense, and while Engram isn't considered a centerpiece to the Broncos' offense, the veteran tight end could thrive in games against teams that opt to home in on Denver's top wideouts. Up next is a Week 2 tilt against the Jaguars, whose defense limited second-year tight end Harold Fannin to a 2-21-0 receiving line on only two targets.

Plays 16 snaps in preseason loss Engram played 16 snaps on offense but didn't show up in the box score otherwise during the Broncos' 33-13 preseason loss to the Packers on Friday.

Impact Engram was more involved offensively in the Broncos' preseason opener against the Falcons, when he caught one pass on three targets for 24 yards. He didn't see a target in Friday's exhibition game, and it remains to be seen whether Engram and the other Denver starters will play in the preseason finale against Minnesota this Friday. Engram is coming off a 2025 regular season in which he caught 50 passes on 76 targets for 461 yards and one touchdown across 16 games. He figures to lead the Broncos' tight end group that also includes Adam Trautman, Justin Joly and Nate Adkins.
