First loss leaves Steelers with plenty to work on

The Pittsburgh Steelers are no longer perfect, and their first loss of the season left them with plenty to work on

Targeted 11 times versus Washington Ebron hauled in seven of his 11 targets for 68 yards in Monday's 23-17 loss to Washington.

Impact Ebron has now garnered 11 targets in each of the last two weeks, but he struggled with open-field drops once again in Monday's loss. The 2014 first-rounder has still received a significant target share however, even with Vance McDonald active once again. Ebron should have a favorable matchup against Buffalo in Week 14.

Commands 11 targets against Ravens Ebron recorded seven receptions on 11 targets for 54 yards in the Steelers' 19-14 win over the Ravens on Wednesday.

Impact Ebron recorded his first double-digit target contest since Week 10 of the 2019 season. The results weren't particularly spectacular, as he was targeted largely in short areas of the field. While he accounted for Ben Roethlisberger's longest completion on a contested back-shoulder throw that went for 27 yards early in the second quarter, Ebron also recorded four receptions of five or fewer yards. The Steelers continue to remain particularly pass-heavy in their offensive approach, meaning Ebron could continue to see plenty of looks Week 13 against Washington.
