Agrees to injury settlement Watford (undisclosed) was cut from injured reserve Tuesday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Impact Watford spent the latter portion of training camp on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Once he was activated, he was immediately placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed issue. Assuming Watford can return to health, he'll be in search of a new team.

Impact As a result, Watford will miss at least the first three games of the 2021 regular season due to an unspecified issue. Once he's cleared to play again, the 2013 fourth-rounder is a candidate to resume his role as a depth guard.
