INJURIES

Quiet performance in win Lock completed 18 of 30 passes for 270 yards and an interception in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Dolphins. He also gained 23 rushing yards on two carries.
Impact It was another poor fantasy performance from Lock, who got picked off for the sixth straight game and has a 6:11 TD:INT over that stretch, but the Denver pass rush ended up shutting down Miami's offense and didn't need much help to get the team in the win column. Lock could be headed for another tepid effort in Week 12 against a Saints defense that just held Matt Ryan and the Falcons to nine points.

Active as expected Week 11 Lock (ribs) is active for Sunday's Week 11 tilt against the Dolphins.
Impact As expected, the second-year signal-caller will suit up after suffering some bruising and a strain in his rib area during a Week 10 loss to the Raiders. Therefore, Broncos skill-position players should be deployed as usual, although they'll face a surging Dolphins defense that's allowed just 194.5 passing yards per road contest thus far, the second-lowest figure in the AFC.

Expected starter Sunday Lock (ribs) is expected to start at quarterback in Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Impact Lock suffered a "pretty severe strain and bruising" to his ribs in last week's loss to the Raiders, but he battled through it in practice this week and will give it a go Sunday. While he's still officially questionable, Lock is expected to be officially cleared when the Broncos reveal their inactive list 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. Brett Rypien will be Lock's primary backup in case he aggravates the injury.

Listed as questionable for Week 11 Lock (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Kyle Newman of the Denver Post reports.
Impact While coach Vic Fangio acknowledged that Lock was "a little sore" Friday morning after resuming throwing Thursday, he added that he "didn't see too much altering" in the QB's delivery. As for the chances of Lock -- who's been splitting practice reps with Brett Rypien -- starting this weekend, Fangio noted "we'll see exactly where Drew is so we can make a good decision, hopefully by the end of the day (Saturday), as to who will be the starter." If that's info the team shares Saturday, then we should have a pretty good idea of Lock's Week 11 status in advance of Sunday's 4:05 ET kickoff.

Likely limited again Friday Lock (ribs) is expected to be limited at Friday's practice and split QB reps with Brett Rypien, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Impact The 24-year-old is apparently trending in the right direction for Sunday's matchup with the Dolphins, but he isn't expected to significantly increase his practice work in the final practice of the week. Lock seems likely to be considered questionable for Week 11, but his status won't receive official clarity until the injury report is released Friday afternoon.

Splits QB reps Thursday Lock (ribs) split QB reps with Brett Rypien during Thursday's practice, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Lock, who was officially listed as limited Thursday, noted afterward that he felt good while throwing in drills, but fell short of confirming that he'll play Sunday against the Dolphins. "I would like to be (available to play)," Lock said Thursday. "Obviously I'll give my opinion and it's going to be I want to play, but in the end it's not 100 percent up to me what happens." Added clarity with regard to his Week 11 status should arrive no later than Friday after the Broncos trainers and doctors asses the signal-caller following practice.

Set for limited practice Lock (ribs) will return to a limited practice Thursday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Impact Per James Palmer of NFL Network, Lock -- who didn't practice Wednesday -- is in line to see some reps during the team portion of practice Thursday. While the QB's return to the field bodes well for his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Dolphins, Lock will have to escape practice (both Thursday and Friday) without any setbacks in order to garner the start this weekend.

Logs Wednesday DNP Lock (ribs) didn't practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Coach Vic Fangio noted that Lock's ability to play Sunday against the Dolphins figures to depend on a few factors that will be evaluated as the week rolls along, while adding that the team does want the QB to see some practice reps in advance of the weekend. As long as Lock misses or is limited at practice, however, Brett Rypien will continue to see added first-team work in his place.
