Agrees to deal with Washington The Commanders will sign Himmelman on Friday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Impact Himmleman was claimed off waivers last May but was released a few days later after failing a physical. The 6-foot-9 offensive tackle has the size to be an elite offensive lineman, but he's likely a long shot to make Washington's initial 53-man roster in 2023.

Returns to practice squad Himmelman was restored to the Broncos' practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list Friday, Ben Swanson of the Broncos' official site reports.

Impact Himmelman has yet to play for the Broncos this season. With Bobby Massie and Calvin Anderson now on the COVID list, it's possible -- but unlikely -- Himmelman could earn a bump to the active roster for Sunday against the Chargers.
