Impact Davis was placed on injured reserve back in August but will now be free to look for an opportunity to play elsewhere once he's healthy. The 29-year-old hasn't appeared in a regular-season contest since 2022 with the Bengals.

Impact Davis was waived with an injury designation Tuesday, and he's now set to miss the entirety of the 2025 campaign while on IR with an undisclosed injury. The defensive tackle would be eligible to play again this season if he were to reach an injury settlement with Pittsburgh, otherwise he'll shift his focus to 2026.

Impact It's not clear what is ailing Davis, but the 28-year-old defensive tackle is unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Buccaneers.
