Impact Though he's seemingly moved past the chest/back issue that sidelined him for a Thursday night game against the Dolphins in Week 3, Chark is now tending to a new injury after exiting late in Sunday's 30-14 loss to the Texans. At this stage, the Jaguars appear to be viewing Chark as day-to-day, but he'll likely need to advance to at least limited participation in practice by Thursday or Friday to have a shot at playing this weekend against the Lions. Even before Chark departed in the fourth quarter Sunday, he took a back seat in the passing game to rookie Laviska Shenault, who hauled in seven of eight targets for 79 yards.

Impact Chark suffered the injury in the fourth quarter, and it's unlikely he returns with just a few minutes remaining in regulation. The third-year receiver caught three passes for 16 yards before exiting the game. Laviska Shenault, Keelan Cole and Chris Conley likely will be rolled out in three-wide sets for the remainder of the game.

Scores twice in Week 4 Chark caught eight of nine targets for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 33-25 loss to the Bengals.

Impact Chark did well to get both feet down in the back of the end zone on his 11-yard touchdown catch late in the first quarter, then scored from two yards out on a quick slant early in the fourth. The chest and back injuries that sidelined Chark in Week 3 are now firmly in the rear view mirror, and Jacksonville's top receiving option should continue to play a major role in his team's Week 5 clash with the winless Texans.
