DeAndre Hopkins: The Bye Was Much Needed WR DeAndre Hopkins on the team's mentality going into Week 8, Lamar Jackson's return to practice, and more.

Steelers Urged To Acquire 5-Time Pro Bowl Receiver From Division Rival The Pittsburgh Steelers are urged to acquire five-time Pro Bowl receiver DeAndre Hopkins from division rival Baltimore Ravens.

Playing time trending up Hopkins had two catches for 20 yards on four targets Sunday against the Rams.
Impact Baltimore's passing game was limited under the direction of Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley on Sunday, but an underlying detail from the game was Hopkins' playing time ticking up. Hopkins played a season-high 26 snaps, which as good for 33 percent. He also had a season-high four targets. Baltimore is on a bye in Week 7, but given that Hopkins has been excellent on a per-target basis (13.7 YPT), it would not be surprising to see his role continue on an upward trend, especially when Lamar Jackson returns.

Impresses on limited opportunites Hopkins caught both of his targets for 46 yards Sunday against the Texans.
Impact Despite the Ravens' offensive struggles Sunday, Hopkins still capitalized on his opportunities. He caught both of his targets for 29- and 17-yard gains. This season, Hopkins has been one of the most efficient receivers in football. He has caught seven of nine targets for 158 yards and two touchdowns. The issue is that Hopkins is playing a small fraction of the snaps. His 11 snaps Sunday were more of the same, as he hasn't topped 20 snaps in a game this season. With Tylan Wallace and Rashad Bateman struggling, there's a case to get Hopkins more involved in the offense. However, the offensive outlook in Baltimore is murky for as long as Lamar Jackson is sidelined.

Impresses on limited opportunites Hopkins caught both of his targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 44-10 loss to the Texans.
Impact Despite the Ravens' offensive struggles Sunday, Hopkins still capitalized on his opportunities. Hopkins has been one of the more efficient receivers in the NFL this season with seven catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets, but he'll struggle to deliver meaningful fantasy value if he continues to handle a part-time role. His 11 snaps on offense Sunday were more of the same, as he hasn't topped 20 snaps in a game this season.

Houston has lost 6 straight to Baltimore, but Lamar Jackson won't be available this week

Baltimore has won six in a row in its series with Houston, but star quarterback Lamar Jackson won't be available for the Ravens when they host the Texans this weekend

Held catchless in loss Hopkins failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Hopkins was a complete non-factor Sunday, failing to record a single catch while playing just 18 of the Ravens' 54 offensive snaps. The veteran wideout's one target was his lowest total of the season after seeing two targets in each of the first three games. Despite his stature as a five-time Pro Bowl selection, Hopkins isn't seeing consistent enough volume to be relied to be relied upon for fantasy purposes.

The veteran wideout's one target was his lowest mark of the season after seeing two targets in each of the first three games. Playing time remains light Hopkins caught one of two targets for 13 yards in Monday's loss to the Lions.
Impact The veteran's snap share remains low despite his per-target productivity. Hopkins has caught five of six targets for 112 yards and two touchdowns through three games. He logged 14 snaps Monday, which amounted to just a quarter of the Ravens' offensive plays while Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace each played over 50 percent of the snaps. While Hopkins has shown he can still play at a high level so far, the low projected snap and target volume make him a difficult player to feel confident starting in redraft leagues.

Snaps could increase Offensive coordinator Todd Monken indicated Friday that he foresees Hopkins getting more snaps as the season progresses, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Impact "With every day, his packages (on offense) are going to continue to grow," Monken said of Hopkins, who logged a 35 percent snap share in Week 1 and an 18 percent share in Week 2. Despite the modest playing time, Hopkins caught both of his targets and scored in both contests. While Zay Flowers should continue to see steady volume and Rashod Bateman maintains a key role, any uptick in terms of workload would help make Hopkins less TD-dependent, while working in a WR corps that also includes Tylan Wallace and Devontez Walker. For now, however, Hopkins profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy lineup option ahead of Monday night's game against the Lions.
